Woman of my Dreams

In a moment of sorrow
I could not feel the sweetness of the harp
for i had one thought
and that thought was you
you unmade my heart
with the depth of your sigh
you plundered my soul
with the cunning of your smile
your beauty beggared description
like a jewel of unparalleled splendor
your being was a sweet image
like one from a fairy tale
i wanted to cry
for at the zenith of my love
i succumbed to your charm
you were lovely as a dream
the dream of my dream
you were like a thing of tears
that matched the opulence of your own eyes
yet in spite of the tears i poured
you inspired me to the point of fever
and so if only i could take the form of a dream
i would wish to be in the dream
of the woman of my dreams

No Woman no cry-Bob Marley.

No Woman No Cry

Bob Marley

I don’t think that the G/B in the first line of the chorus is correct. It sounds to me like that chord dives lower, I’m guessing to an Em. Corrected as such.

A Special World.

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.
